Oh I almost forgot, a nice new fact was that wave 9 had a sticker on it reading "Only at Toys R Us". Maybe that is why it has been such a pain to find.

I don’t know if anyone cares anymore…but I found Wave 8 & 9 between Target and Toys r Us over the weekend. By the way, do they ever update this site anymore? I liked keeping up on the info but there has been no info as of late.

I guess with the matty collector website opening a forum section soon they did not want to compete with it.

In looking at my wave 11 figures that I just got, most of them have the full neck articulation and can look up and down with full range of motion, though, for some reason, the Question and Deadman cannot. I'm not sure why this is, but it is annoying. What joint would you forsee them getting rid of? There aren't any that would make much sense, especially since they're increasing the price.

OK, guys - to re-phrase my statement a bit, I COULD use to probably get rid of some of my other surplus Batman figures.....BUT I'll never get rid of this black Bats, that's for sure.....I'm not that much of a costume purist when it comes to Batman - and I have no problems whatsoever with the black or blue with gray duds - but all-black simply makes more sense design-wise & stealth-wise......Side by side with Nightwing, they make for the sleekest dynamic duo in 6-inch scale so far........Oh, but that's just me raving on, being simply grateful I got them XMas goodies......Hope y'all got what you wished for as well.....!!

Flash, I agree with your thoughts on the C&C with batman and that there are WAY TOO MANY Batmans (and he's my favorite SuperHero, DC or Marvel). But, the Black outfit is definitely way cooler than I thought it would be and way cooler then all the others!! I figured, if I had to skip a few Wave 10s, he'd be one, but no regrets on my purchase of the BLACK BAT!!!!

Man, it gets tiresome having people misread what you write - I said they were "fast approaching DC Direct in lack of poseability", not at "Dc Direct level".

You can't deny that the quality/cost is not improving, except possibly re: the C&Cs. I mean the new Mego style figures with clothing are priced at $20 a peice and these six inch figures are going to be $15 - that doesn't make a lot of sense.

This line has another three years to go? That's plenty of time for Mattel to drop another joint, or two.

Well, not EVERYWHERE, but they are out in great enough numbers so that the ebay prices should be bottoming out for those who can't find it. I bought from the store for under $100. I'm sorry, but these figures are not DC Direct level poseability--they can bend they're arms and legs and have ankle joints.

I disagree--I'm getting tired of all the Batmen. As soon as I found all of wave 10 and bought it, Batman was a regret. I'll probably save the black one, the one from the Gotham 5-pack, and (if I get it) the one from the Clayface 2-pack and sell them as a set. At least they didn't put a C&C piece in it.

FINALLY got black BATs & JOKER via Amazon - both were worth the wait & price increase in my book! You could never have enough Batman figures, I say - and this black-clad version is the sleekest & coolest one in the DCUC so far. Joker could have used better articulation on his hips, but his sculpt & paint job overall are nearly flawless ! It's THE best articulated Joker figure we've all been waiting for - kudos again to the 4Horsemen for making my Holidays complete........

You should've shopped the bay. I just got me a set for $80 plus $12.50 shipping. So, I paid less then retail. At least we weren't lied to when we were told they'd get more of these out there than Wave 5. This set is all over. I think it's just that greedy little fools buy all they see so they can jack up the price, but it isn't really working out for too many sellers. Don't pay more than 110.00 for this set b/c they're everywhere!
