Mattycollector.com posted this update on their Facebook page a little while ago:

Hey DC Universe fans, you asked for it, you got it! Here is the reveal of another 6″ character in the DC Universe Club Infinite Earths subscription program…Poison Ivy! To get this figure, as well as the other subscription figures, sign up for the club: http://bit.ly/mURsgQ

Matty further updated with the following:

To clarify the DC Universe Club Infinite Earths subscription, If the sub does not move forward, the figures announced will not be a part of the 2012 retail line. The only way we will create these DC Universe figures in 2012 is through the subscription program. To get Starman, Atrocitus, Flash 1, and Poison Ivy, sign up for the sub: http://bit.ly/mURsgQ

Does anyone know how to purchase a subscription?

I agree, Poison Ivy S/B in the Batman Legacy line period! Though I like the DC Direct stuff I am more a fan of the DCU Classics line. I want DCU to do a HUSH line (heck Poison Ivy could be in there as well!) and the BAF could be the Killer Croc from that story line. Do It!!!

I was going to jump the trigger and buy the subscription but then I began to think. I am not really crazy about the work Mattel is doing. The figures are ok but they are not great. It is like MOTU. All the figures share the same body with rare exceptions. And they are a pain in the neck to find. On the other hand There is DC Direct that produces great figures. almost every figure is an original sculpture, well, if not every figure, every line. They don’t have as much articulation but they look a lot better. Immaculate paint jobs and the price is now about the same. Guess what, for the same price, or even a couple of dollars,is a no brainer. DC Direct Wins hands down and they are easy to acquire. I just have to make a trip to my local comic book store and support those guys at the same time. Mattel have a long way to go to get near DC Direct quality. It is insulting the way the price of their figures have escalated. And apparently there is no intentions on the horizon to complete the Metal Men.
Well that is enough. Just my two cents.

It’s very low of them to use a long time demanded figure as a scare tactic threat to push people into buying more subscriptions.

    Ivy belongs in Batman Legacy.

The subscription is for demanded characters that wouldn’t do well at retail for moms and kids . . . everyone knows who poison ivy is. she’d do wonderfully at retail.

I’m a little peeved. So far, they are all characters I’d love to have figures of. I really don’t understand why there’s such a short deadline to meet their goal and why DCUC doesn’t just get one automatically like MOTUC and GB.
