In order for any of these characters to become peg-warmers, they’ll first need to actual reach the pegs. But Mattel doesn’t seem very interested in getting their product to retail.

Can you believe that Target, a major retail outlet, has been leaving empty pegs (for Mattel’s DC lines) in the their action figure aisles for all this time? It’s going on years now.

  • Joseph says:

    I love them!
Killer Moth is just as goofy as he needs to be. What I love best about the DCUC line is the colors! Wow!

I have my figures open and displayed and just seeing them all together is awesome.

I LOVE the bright colors of Superman (classic suit) as opposed to the DC Universe Superman waves. The colors appeared so muted.
I wish they made a traditional Superman (short hair) with this vibrant colorful suit. But I guess with a little heat and careful popping, I can do a pretty decent head switch!
    Great great figures.
REALLY excited about the Kalibak C&C.

  • Chris says:

Oh. lol Yeah there’s a ton of Etrigan and Penguin and Orion. IT’s pretty crazy.

I guess it depends on the area.

  • Greg says:

You have pegwarmers?! Here in Hasbro Country we have NONE of these figures anywhere.

  • Chris says:

I agree Greg. I understand what you mean. It’s really good that they can make characters that fans what but I’m just worried that if you include characters like Killer Moth the line will perish.

Etrigan and Penguin were pretty bad peg warmmers in my area. I can only imagine how Killer Moth will fill the shelves. I love the line and so that’s why I’m worried. Dare I say it, but I think it’s possible that even Booster Gold and Blue Beetle will clog shelves after collectors have had their share.

  • Greg says:

Chris, Killer Moth just being MADE shows that Mattel is really serious about going to the outside edges of the DC Universe and pulling some really crazy characters out of their hat. I’m really excited about adding this unusual rogue to Batman’s gallery.

I agree. The odd-ball figures are what makes me collect these figures more and more. Victor Zsasz would be an awesome addition to the Bat baddies.

  • Chris says:

Killer Moth is the worst character I have ever seen…at least that costume. Mattel sniff no more lead please.

  • Will says:

This whole line is going to be
    Superman Long Hair
    Superman Solar Suit
    Hawkman
    Mr. Miracle
    Dr. Impossible
    Captain Marvel
    Killer Moth
    C&C: Kalibak
They all look amazing, Mr. Miracle has a bunch of like, accessories, if you will, that look great.

  • Eddie says says:

Out freaking standing! These put the DCD versions to shame, except for Killer moth…cuz DCD never made him!

Can’t wait to own them all!
