NYCC Exclusive DCUC figures at WizardUniverse.com

WizardUniverse.com has revealed photos of the DCUC exclusive figures for the upcoming New York Comic Con (which happens on April 18-20, 2008). Included are Tech Suit Mr. Freeze, Knight Shadow Batman and Black Outfit Superman. Many fans are somewhat disappointed with this. But looking at the bright side, many who can’t go to the convention will be spared from the agony of having to track them down.

I love the look of all three of these figures. I especially want the Mr. Freeze. If I could be at the Con, I’d get all three.
    Beautiful!!

“Business as Usual for Mattel”…. Are you kidding? If they would have offered something new only available at the convention, you’d still be complaining. I didn’t buy any of those either, but I might this time around. Mattel has been doing a great job with the DCUC line, but people like you are looking for something to complain about.

  • James Collins says:

i have that superman already, only because it is what superman prime is wearing, i have seen the man bat that toyfair said was in it, and that is the only one that looked good to me.

  • Jim Abell says:

Well, the Freeze is definately different. The Superman in the photo has a collar which goes all the way up his neck unlike the retail one, will it really be different?… Batman — I can’t really tell from that overly-glossy photo…

Are these going to be in DCUC packaging or DC Super Heroes packaging?

  • Andrew says:

Thanks, but no thanks. I passed on these versions of Batman and Superman when they were warming the pegs at retail. And I already have three different versions of this Mr. Freeze. This fourth one is quite unimpressive. It looks like, despite all their promises, it’s business as usual for Mattel, which doesn’t bode well for guys like us. I mean, is this one of this year’s big surprises from them? If so, then yippie.
