SaveDCUC.com Launched

Simply put, if Matty’s Club Infinite Earths subscription does not meet the minimum subscription to go forward, it’s the end of the line for DCUC. SaveDCUC.com is a collective last ditch effort to campaign for the subscription’s success. Please take a look and then hopefully, show your support afterwards.

Poor quality, really bad distribution, constantly raising prices & waste of space character selections like rainbow lanterns & stuper friends (classics? I don’t think so) Bad business=no business its as simply as that. Mattel had their chance to do it right & blew it. Maybe the next corporation to be lucky enough to get the license will learn from Matty’s mistakes.

@”Sheesh” – I too have given up hope that we will ever see Elongated Man or Huntress or Poison Ivy. I have these figures in my collection of DC Universe Classics but mine are DC Direct figures too. Don’t hold your breath on these figures being released in a DCUC wave. Mattel would rather cram figures from pointless fly by night story lines down our throats than actually finish releasing all of the classic characters that many of us have been waiting for since wave 1 was released. Then they wonder why nobody buys their (waves 17 and 18) figures. Mattel and Hasbro need to learn to complete rosters of hero and villain teams (X-Force, X-Facter, The New Gods, etc) before moving on to something else.

I’m not buying a subscription just to get 2 or 3 figures I actually want. Jay Garrick, Poison Ivy, Huntress, a decent Killer Croc, a modern Flash, a GOOD Batman (any ETA on one of those, Mattel?)… these figures could easily be released in a wave of DCUC and sold in stores. Quit selling crappy SuperFriends and rainbow Lantern figures and your numbers will be higher. Focus on quality control and distribution. I’m tired of opening figures like Flash who have smudged lightning bolts and Batman who has a crack running down his leg. You’re not holding the characters I want hostage by forcing people to pay you a bunch of money for characters that nobody wants or has ever heard of. If you go subscription only I have no problems rounding out my collection with DC Direct figures to fill in the missing characters in my collection. Thanks!

wow barley 60 percent and 10 pm in California this is what happens when u don’t put out a quality product. i have purchased every wave every figure and every exclusive. i have discover that every single wave has 3 figures with problems either stuck joints that tear off limbs to move legs and missing parts. Mattel is banking on the fact that collectors wont open there figures i do to display them. i have been forced to pre order at entertainment earth because the figure waves are incredibly hard to find at local stores like wall mart Kmart and target and even toys r us. When you call Mattel you get rude employees and no help at all to exchange hard to find damaged figures. your chickens have come home to roost Mattie poor quality and poor distribution have caused collectors to walk away from you. our voices have been heard. by the way i hate the arogant punk mascot you have chosen.
