I hope it looks better in person…I’m not liking the light grey color at all. It looks SO like plastic when a giant robot should look like metal and paint. The lack of paint on the legs just looks lazy. Some white accents on the gauntlets, boots, chest, and helmet would have done wonders. Or they could’ve done the original comic version instead of this crappy DCnU design. Epic fail, Mattel!
I take it all back. I got my STRIPE last week and he’s much whiter than the photos made him out to be. It still seems like there are places they could’ve added a little color, but overall, he’s really cool. The rest of the wave was in good shape, too–no major QC issues.
