The Joker and Power Girl at SDCC 2009

Daniel Pickett (a.k.a. Julius Marx of AFi) is currently covering the events and displays at this year’s San Diego Comic Con. He was nice enough to share with us photos of 2 of the most anticipated figures from Mattel’s DC Universe ClassicsThe Joker and Power Girl.

There’s a blurry video featuring these figures. If you want to see clearer pictures, check out:

They promise WM will have better distribution this time around, but what does that mean? 6 stores get them instead of 2?? RE ISSUE wave 5, no exclusive stores, THEN put these out. Im still stunned at why either Horsemen or Mattel is doing this, cant see where they profit from the scalpers. And again…WHERE is the Martian Manhunter…

  • AREZ says:

I just can’t believe this wave is Wal-Mart exclusive. I didn’t find but only one of wave 5. This SUX!!!

  • Jon says:

Four Horsemen – you are a magnificient quartet.

I love the Marshal Rogers-esque Joker and pray to the action figure Godz that I can find one (or two would be nice) for less than $25.00 + shipping because there is no way in HELL any of the SIX Walmarts near me on Long Island, New York, nor the two in Winston-Salem, North Carolina by my sister’s house are going to carry this.

    Thanks for nothing, Mattel.

If Walmart is going to gang up shipments to one region why don’t they send every last case of Wave 10 to somewhere like Flint, Michigan or Rochester, NY so the locals can put some scalper cash in their empty wallets?

At least that would create some kind of justice I could live with…

Trust me when I tell you this. I will have these, I have not missed a figure yet including the metallo wave. These will be mine!!!

  • Why even bother to put up photos, it’s not like any of us will actually SEE any of these figures as they get swallowed up in the gaping maw of the black hole of Wal-Mart.

  • Templar says:

As expected, JOKER’s body sculpt is the same as Gentleman Ghost’s.
His unmistakably unique head sculpt is comic-book perfect…..Well, good luck to us all in getting these two, IF they really are WAL-MART exclusives (under Wave 10)……….

Without a doubt, this is what we’ve all been waiting for!!! The Joker and Power Girl look awesome. Plus, Joker comes with a whole bunch of weapons.
