I like this figure a lot. Right proportions, good paint, but the goggles, though pretty clear, make mine look a little cross-eyed. Oh well, I’m glad they made him. Hopefully they’ll find a way to kill off the new techno-teen Beetle and revive this one–though he did go out as a true hero.

I HAVE A TON OF BLUE BEETLE COMIC BOOKS,BECAUSE HE IS MY FAVORITE SUPERHERO,AND I HAVE TO SAY THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB.HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE OFF OF BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD,AND NO I DO NOT MEAN THE CRAPPY 17 YEAR OLD ONE,I MEAN THE ONE ON THE EPISODE TITLED SCIENCE ISLAND.GOD I LOVE THIS FIGURE SO MUCH.AND NO I’M NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT WOULD SETTLE FOR ANY FIGURE I HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE SOME ARTICULATION OR I’LL GO CRAZY.SO MATTEL,YOU GUYS DID A REALLY GOOD JOB ON THIS ONE AND I MEAN IT,COMING FROM A TRUE BLUE BEETLE FAN.

AGREED! I’m soooooooo glad they also kept the clear yellow goggles on him like they did with his buddy Booster…..Can’t wait for Elongated Man, Fire, Ice, and the rest of the old JL International in this DCUC line!!
