I am not saying anything new with this post.

This is perhaps the best DCUC figure. The accessories are well done. His sculpting is superb and I love the wings. He has always been one of my favorite characters and now he is my favorite action figure.

Right now my top 5 are:
    1. Hawkman
    2. Flash
    3. Aquaman ( orange shirt, short hair )
    4. Ares
    5. Deathstroke

Mattel , if you ever read this site, keep up the good work.

This is the coolest figure so far. I’ve always thought his color scheme (X-mas + yellow) and lack of a shirt made him a lame character , but the job they did on him has made me reconsider. The wings are incredible, though they usually make him a standout character–I even liked the Total Justice Hawkman. They should compare every future figure to this one just to see how it stacks up. Very impressive.

The bio is correct for the most recent appearance of Hawkman in JSA comics. Carter Hall continues to be the re-incarnate form of Ku-Fu (or however the heck you spell it)

This is a fantastic looking figure, the proportions are well done, the articulation is superb, the joints cleverly hidden.

I was leery because he doesn’t wear much of a costume, so the joints in the shoulders and arms had a great potential to be awkward, but the curve of the biceps and the pectorals does an excellent job of masking the mid upper arm joint and the shoulder joints respectively.

The items included are great, I just wish the Claw of Horus was one of them.

Other than Aquaman, this is my favorite figure in the line so far.

He’s awesome and now that I’ve gotten over the excitement of getting him, I can give a good review. He stands pretty well. His accessories are pretty good too. His colors are bright like the Super Powers Hawkman and the paint job is very nice on mine anyway. I’m a little picky also. There are only two problems with this figure. One hand is a fist so he can only hold one of his weapons. The other problem is a design and color problem with his helmet. His “beak” is too flat and it’s not yellow like what’s on the rest of his uniform. I wish they’d have done it similar to the Super Powers line. Oh, one more thing. His bio gives the Golden Age origin when this is obviously the Silver Age version. Plus, they are supposed to be releasing a 2-pack of the Golden Age versions.

This is the definitive Hawkman action figure! Looks like he jumped off the pages of a Hawkman comic book! Can’t wait to have this winged warrior in my hands!
