This was a let down for most of us. I still have not completed this figure, since it was so hard to get. WalMart exclusive was a terrible idea, and made it so hard to complete. I found only one out of the entire line. They need to be rereleased either to WalMart again, or everywhere (with the BAF still included) to help some of us out.

It’s one of the best BAFs, but mine was pretty shoddy. The hip joints are so loose he can barely stand, and one of the elbow joints is loose, so his arm has to stay extended. I had to buy my set on ebay and got gouged pretty good. Hopefully Mattel cares enough about fans of this line to never give Wal-Mart an exclusive again. My local Target has managed to carry most figures from the other waves and Toys R Us has had all the 2-pack exclusives except one. Wal-Mart failed and doesn’t deserve another chance.

This is a great figure, but I much prefer the more human take on Metallo. I’d love to see the classic Metallo in his orange and green outfit with the green face mask, but I know that’s only a silver age geek’s dream.

I heard this wave was only distributed to 100 Wal-Marts stores in the U.S. Is this true, only 100?

He looks great, but. . .
I HATE exclusives. All it does is make it hard for the regular shopper to be able to complete a collection. The figures look nice, but it makes me slightly annoyed when I can not just go buy a figure at any of my regular stores, and not I have to keep hitting up Wal-Mart, and they had like one shipment of this wave, and dont seem to be getting more.

I don’t see a Kryptonite heart…does his chest open? Surely the ‘M’ lifts and there is a molded green chunk of ‘uh-oh’ inside.
