  • SilverSuperman says:

Yeah I really can’t wait for wave three, but wave two will be a good step to get there. And for Mistah, I believe the second week in March was the last thing I heard. I wish it was now. haha

  • Mistah J says:

When is the release date for wave 2? I need to know how long I have to save up!!

  • jimmy j says:

Nice figures but I feel the same as others. Wish they had made the real superman like tehy did the batman with the 4 horsemen doing the sculpts, original superman would looked awesome. The 12 inch dc universe superman looked great why not shrink him down to 6 inch. I look foward to wave two and especially wave 3 with green lantern and Robin.

  • bruce dilis says:

nice! but its too freakin expensive here in the philippines ($23 each fig) so ill have to pass. I hope Mattel do something about the ridiculous pricing here.

  • Clint says:

    Brilliant !
    Absolutley Brilliant !
I have everything you guys have ever released. Each wave brings me an excited thrill for what’s to come next. Takes me back to being a kid again. Bring on Green Lantern Guy Gardner and his Green Lantern side kick G’nort. Then I’ve died and gone to heaven.

  • Grouch says:

    Fantastic. Hope these arrive soon.
I find it odd that classic Aquaman and classic Firestorm will be the standard releases but the variant versions of both are featured on the card art inside the bubble. I wonder which versions will be pictured on the back of the card?

  • Aaron says:

Great looking line you got there mattel. Oh and please don’t sue me actionfigureinsider I just realized I was using your website as link from my name. PLEASE FORGIVE.

  • Andrew says:

I wouldn’t mind a new Superman if Mattel brightened up his red and blue just a bit. The original figure has dark and dull colors…which looks great with the Batman figures of the old DCSH line. It looks like I am going to have to categorize some of the figures on my shelf, as some characters don’t really belong with others according to DC continuity.

  • SilverSuperman says:

I probably will get all of these, but I wish they would have just done a regular superman rather than red and blue. Still sweet figures.

  • Ross says:

Awesome! Can’t wait. How about an Ocean Master figure to go with Aquaman?

  • Some of the faces sculpted by the Four Horsemen look a bit too similar, but all-in-all this series is near perfect! Can’t wait to pick this entire series.

I’m not a huge fan of Superman Red/Blue, but it’s better than yet ANOTHER repaint of the first Superman figure and they were referenced in the comic books AND although his powers were “lame” in that story arc the “S” redesign and costume were cool looking IMHO.

  • Jericho says:

Firestorm is by far, the best figure in the series. Great, great, job. Love the translucent fire and spectacular job on the effects around Firestorm’s fists.
I’m getting a bunch of these Classic Firestorms. When do they hit retail?

  • chrishaley says:

Does anyone know who’s doing the artwork for the packaging? The style looks familiar, but I can’t place it.

  • MegaGearX says:

    Simply beautiful!!!

So the variant Aquaman will be a running change as well?

Bring on Wonder Woman for Wave 4!!!

  • […] whole new set of possibilities where the C&C figure is concerned. There are also images of the packaged figures from wave 2 on the site, which leads me to believe these will be hitting store shelves pretty soon! […]

  • The Solutions says:

The Firestorm classic and new Firestorm will be a running change…so, the first cases to hit the stores will be classic the next few will be new…

  • MikeK says:

Good, but I don’t really care for the red and blue Superman action figures.

  • ting says:

does this mean that the classic firestorm is the regular fig?
